BioBridges, a Career Portfolio™ Management company providing integrated services to the emerging life sciences community, proudly announces the promotion of Jennifer Thayer, MA, EdM, MBA to Head of Medical Writing and Scientific Communications.  Thayer has over 19 years of experience leading individuals and teams across all functions in the development of regulatory, educational and strategic documents, to meet and exceed client corporate objectives.

Thayer has led various functions for prominent organizations such as Biogen, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and Dyax Corp.  She brings extensive regulatory document writing and review experience, and a depth of expertise in developing and organizing

content for regulatory submissions. She is an expert in organizational management and strategies. Thayer also serves as an instructor at Boston University, School of Medicine and Metropolitan College.

“Jenny’s combined experience, leadership, and reputation in the industry are as impressive as the person she is,” said Jason Falchuk, Founding Partner. “Our longstanding relationship with Jenny began more than five years ago as a client who embraced the BioBridges model and used our company as an integrated extension of her organization to support them en route to their first new drug application. We were honored two years ago when Jenny chose us to represent and manage her career — where she is currently leading a program team on a submission for a long-time client.  Her dual experience, as both a BioBridges client and consultant, brings an incredible perspective that will have a tremendous impact on our programs and the community we serve.”

As head of Medical Writing and Scientific Communications, Thayer will continue to work with BioBridge’s clients to evaluate, understand, and strategically plan their medical writing and scientific communication program objectives. She will serve as a subject matter expert, working with BioBridges consultants across all aspects of medical writing and scientific communications.

“I’m thrilled to join the BioBridges team and to help our clients and consultants achieve their goals,” said Thayer. “As a former client, I came to value BioBridges’ unique business model — it works by creating and supporting the right relationships and opportunities for both clients and consultants, and fills a resourcing gap in our industry.  The BioBridges model provides the experience that works, precisely what is needed for all involved.”
